    Schönen guten Abend,

    Wahrscheinlich erinnert man sich hier schon lange nicht mehr an mir. Meine letzte Beiträge stammen aus 2012 und auch damals war ich nicht sehr aktiv. Die niederländischsprachige Mikronation wofür ich damals aktiv war, Batavia, existiert auch immer noch, man kann sie hier finden. Nicht lange danach haben wir uns losgerissen und sind weitergegangen als das Kaiserreich Jingdao und Südbatavia, auch das existiert immer noch, jetzt nur noch als das Kaiserreich Jingdao. Man kann uns hier finden. Ich glaube, dass wir als Jingdao auch noch einige Zeit auf der OIK Karte vermeldet standen, diese Karte kann ich aber leider nicht zurückfinden. Vielleicht kann jemand mir dabei helfen?

    Ich habe angefangen etwas über unserer Reich und unserem Planeten zu schreiben auf euer Wiki.

  • Weltausstellung / World Expo 2012


    The Dutch micronation Batavia is hosting the 2012 world exposition around the theme "industrialization", but use this theme as much or as little as suits you. If you have never been to a micronational world exposition you could take a look at last year's expo which was hosted by the Bastion Union. The basic idea is that all participating nations get a pavilion, a subforum, in which they will post some topics to display the magnificence of their nation. If you're willing to participate please be able to create at least 5 reasonable topics for in your pavilion.

    I think it would be really cool to see some German nations joining our Expo, don't be afraid to use a little German either. The perfect situation would be to use both German and English. You can register here untill the 1st of August, but that is a soft deadline. Start posting in your subforum on the 8th of August or contact me if that doesn't work out because of holidays. I hope to see all of you!

    Ich denke, das Spiel zwischen die Karten ist für Batavia uninteressant. Es gibt genügend Intrigen in dem englischsprachigen Sektor. ;)

    Ich mache hier mal auf deutsch weiter - du willst dein Deutsch ja schließlich verbessern und das geht nicht, wenn man nur englische Texte liest.

    Wie Faantir sagte, werden viele Staaten auf unseren Karten keine diplomatischen Kontakte mit Staaten haben wollen, die nicht auf derselben Karte eingezeichnet sind. Es gibt aber noch eine Möglichkeit, die er nicht genannt hat: Einige Staaten sind auch auf beiden deutschen Karten eingezeichnet. Das gleiche wäre theoretisch auch mit Staaten möglich, die zusätzlich auf einer ganz anderen Karte sind.

    Aber solange der Kontakt außerhalb des Spiels (wir sagen normal "simoff") bleibt, ist es ja sowieso kein Problem. :)

    Deutsch lesen ist überhaupt kein Problem für mich, ich lese zwei deutschsprachige Zeitungen, NZZ und FAZ, sehr regelmäßig und höre auch gern WDR 5 und Deutschlandfunk. Nur die Grammatik...

    Batavia hat auch nur diplomatischen Kontakte mit Staaten auf derselben (MCS) Karte. Wir besprechen einen OIK-Antrag.

    To become a citizen you need another citizen to sponsor you in the Nationaal Beraad our parliament and your application and it will be treated like legislation so there will be a vote. You can gain the nationality a bit easier, the king normally grants that. There is a difference because in-sim it's odd to just take away the nationality of someone who has done much for the nation just because he is inactive now, on the other hand, it can be difficult for the in-game mechanisms if we have to many inactive citizens.

    Our world? It's complicated... some of the English micronation are really fantasy oriented and as such we have even inherited a flying island... but we are basically (in-sim) the Benelux countries with 20 million people on an area the size of Russia spread over two continents.

    And yes, my English is far superior to my German, I want to change that though, but should probably start by learning the German grammar again... :whistling:

    Guten Abend,

    Ich heiße Mordechai ben Erasmus (Pseudonym) und bin Außenminister vom Königsreich Batavia. Wir existieren seit 2006 aber haben bisher keine Kontakten im deutsches Sprachraum. Seit Anfang 2012 sind wir gehostet auf die Bastion Union Foren , wo neben uns einige englischsprechende Mikronationen gehostet sind. Ich möchte gern hier neue Kontakten finden!
